Well I havent been posting here much lately but to be fair… I have been bouncing around between sick and healthy-but-busy.

After my sinus infection from Hades left, I flew to NC to visit Ry.  I got to meet my midwives (LOVE them) and Ry got to hear babys heartbeat… he had the biggest smile on his face!

Monday morning of this week I woke up at 2am in so much pain that I ended up crawling into the tub with warm water to relax. Terrified, I called the doctors office and told them I thought I had a really bad painful bladder infection. They told me to come in to pee in a cup as soon as I could pee again.

So about 10am I walked in, the receptionists looked at me and said… Oh you do NOT feel good at all today huh? We have an opening you are going to see the doctor today. (My appointment this week was Wednesday so it saved me a second trip to the doctor)

Peed in a cup, declined being weighed at my midwifes request (luckily my doctor is okay with this as long as I weigh myself at home and inform them if I suddenly gain or lose a bunch of weight) and headed into the room.

Doctor came in (and I love her to death) giggling about Honeymoon Cystitis (in other words I got the bladder infection from not being so careful after seeing Ry again since it had been so long… makes perfect sense to me too!)

Asked me how I felt… I said I felt like a football player had kicked me in the lower abs/pelvis.

Went over all my stuff (allergies and what-not) and as she was talking about the amoxicillin I mentioned going to a musical that night and wondering what I could do about the pain… so she put me on prescription AZO… Oh my gosh this stuff is like miracle pills? It had me peeing festive easter colors and within 2 hours of taking it I hardly hurt, within 12 hours I didnt hurt at ALL anymore. I knew I would still have hurt if it werent for the pills… because if I would cough or turn wrong I would still feel it.

Today the pills are out of my system and Im still feeling better, thank goodness!
